Let's Begin!

1.  Open a new image 500 X 500 with a transparent background.

2.  Go to Selections, Load Selection From Disc, find the jcc-vaseoutline and apply with the following settings;

3.  Grab your Flood fill tool and set your foreground to Pattern.  Locate your jcc-ml pattern and apply it with the following settings; Angle = 50 and Scale = 90.  It is very important that you don't forget to change these two settings so your pattern lines up properly inside of your vase when you fill it.  Flood Fill selection.

4.  Keep selected and go to Effects, Geometric Effects, Cylinder-Verticle, find the jcc-vasecurve preset and apply it.

5.  Click on Selections, Float and then Effects, 3D Effects and apply the following Cutout; Verticle = -3, Horizontal = 27, Opacity = 71, Blur = 34.00, Color = #433147.

6.  Apply the Cutout again using the same settings, except change the Verticle to 3 and Horizontal to -27.

7.  Select none and with your Mover tool, position your vase towards the bottom of the canvas.

8.  Now go to Effects, Plugins, Lokas Software, 3D Shadow, Click on Presets and choose the Rear Shadow Effect and change and apply the settings below;

9.  Go to Layers, Add New Raster Layer and name it VaseTop.  Go to Selections, Load Selection, Load from Disc and find jcc-vasetop and apply it.

10.  With your Flood fill tool, set your foreground color to #433147 and fill the selection.  Keep selected and go to Selections, Modify, Expand by 2.  Keep selected.

11.  Add a New Raster Layer and name it Gold Ring, then fill the Selection with a Gold Pattern of your choice.  Go to Selections, Modify, Contract by 2 and hit the Delete button on your keyboard.  You should now have a gold rim around the vase top.

12.  Close the visibily on your other Layers and Merge the Gold Ring layer and your Vase Top layer visible.  Move and position this ontop of your vase.  See examples below.

Now, let's make the Ting Tings to fill our vase.

13.  Add a New Raster Layer and name it TingTings.

14.  Click on your Preset Shape tool and set your foreground color to #D1B781 and your background color to #BD945D.  Find your Check 4 preset shape and select it.  On your tool bar, make sure that you have Create as a Vector checked, Line Width set to 0 and Anti Alias checked.  Above your vase, draw a very thin check mark so it almost resembles a branch.  Once you have it drawn, go to your Layer Palette and convert the layer to a Raster layer.  See example below;

15.  Draw a second branch just about half the size of the first one and follow the same settings then convert this Layer to a Raster layer also.

16.  Using these two branches, you can Duplicate them, Flip them and/or Mirror them, use your Deform tool to rotate them slightly and begin to build your branch stems to your liking.  I only Duplicated each layer one time and placed them together as in the Example below;

17.  When you have your branches done, close the visibility on all other layers and Merge all of your Branch Layers visible into one single layer.  Make sure this layer is on the top in your Layer Palette.

18.  Go to Selections, Select All, Float and then Go to Effects, Geometric Effects, Cylinder-Horizontal and apply the following settings;  Color = #534735 and Strength at 50%.

19.  Keep selected and apply a Drop Shadow with the following settings; V=5, H= (-5), Opacity=50, Blur = 5.94, Color = Black ( #000000).

20.  Go to Layers and Add a New Raster Layer.  Decorate your TingTing Branches with your favorite flower or you can use the jcc-goldflower_05 from the supply files.  Once you have your flowers where you like them.  Apply the same drop shadow to them as in Step 19.

21.  Merge all Layers Visible and save as a .psptube or a .jpg.

You are Done!
